In 1999, a group of friends, nature lovers, owners of Herdade da Bombeira decided to plant 18 Ha of red grape varieties, in an area with privileged soils which anticipated a terroir of very high potential.

In 2000, the plantation was concluded, and in 2003 we produced the first wines. In 2005 the first rosé, between 2009 and 2011 the planting of 3.5 Ha of white grape is completed and in 2012 we produced the first white wine.

In a constant quest to know and understand the productive potential of the terroir, we have succeeded in developing these wines. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mother Nature and all stakeholders, namely our customers that have contributed to the success of this project.
